|Fireworks Extravaganza at Waikaraka Park|
|More cars are yet to make their season debuts at Waikaraka Park, so good fields across all classes are expected for the November 5th meeting at Waikaraka Park Speedway, this being the annual Fireworks meeting.
Classes Racing at the Fireworks meeting are Super Stocks, Stockcars, Modifieds, Super Saloons, and Ministox. ATV's have also been confirmed for the Fireworks Meeting on November 5th. It will be an eventful night, with 21 races planned along with a fireworks display.
Please Note: Minisprints are not racing at the Fireworks Meeting as initially advised.

Gate prices for the Fireworks meeting are $15.00 for Adults, $6.00 for Kids (14 and under), and $40.00 for a family (2 adults and up to 4 kids). Meeting starts at 7PM.
In other general news, the track surface was expected to be laid last week, however due to unforeseen circumstances, the clay for it will be delivered next week instead of last week as initially planned. The clay is from the same source as the current track material. Lately the track has been in good condition so with the new material, things can only get better!
And now for some news about meetings to be held at Waikaraka Park in the near future, entry forms for the richest individual Stockcar event in New Zealand will be available next week. This meeting being the Stockcar Stampede which is going to be held on December 26 & 27, 2005. Entry to this meeting will be by entry only, so make sure you get your entries in quick to guarantee a meeting of top racing. The bigger the entries, the better the racing. Lack of entries will mean the cancellation of the event.
In other news, the Super Saloon Speedweek will no longer be taking place. For the date scheduled for the finale of the series, we are planning on scheduling in a decent Super Saloon Invitational meeting.

In other news, Auckland and Huntly have agreed in principle to an inter-club challenge in the classes of Saloons, Stockcars, MiniStox, and MiniSprints. Each club will travel with their best competitors in each section to the other track. It is thought that 12 vehicles will represent each club in the Stockcars, Saloons and MiniStox divisions, and 8 cars from each club in the MiniSprints. Dates are yet to be determined for this, and more details are to follow.
